I want to install a free piece of software called 'Audio Workstation' to enable me to convert some music files to MP3 format.

I have started the install but it has stopped and informed me that some of my system files need to be updated before it can proceed further with the installation.

Is it safe to grant permission, and if not how can I remove what has already loaded on my computer?

I cannot find any reference to it in my Add & Remove files, there is only an icon on my desktop.

I never said that I didn't need to play them on a MP3 player.

I do actually, I also want to use them for background music to a some photos on a digital photo frame.

Thanks for the link.

I think, although you are trying to be very helpful, we tend to be at cross purposes,

Presumably you want to upload the mps's onto an mp3 player or phone?

No RoaldoM, I want to turn some WMA format music files into MP3 format music file.

I just wanted to convert the files to MP3 format, not necessarily to play on a MP3 player or phone, but in fact to play on my electronic photo frame, which only accepts that format.

Thanks for your help anyway.
