I don't understand what you mean... can you explain a bit more?

CDs of photos to file onto a Mac lappy. The photos open okay from the CD but they're wanted, filed on the Mac hard drive.

Either just drag the photo files to a folder that you want them in, or open iPhoto and drag them into there.
