Downloading texts and MMS from Nokia 6300 to computer

Does anybody know if it is possible to download texts and MMS from my Nokia 6300 to my PC via a USB lead?

If so, how do I do it, please?

I've already connected my phone to my PC. The PC "reads" the phone as a "removable drive", but doesn't give me any access to texts or MMS within that "drive".

I tried downloading music from my PC to my phone using that programme and it told me that "no music was found". I found that rather odd seeing as I had 800+ songs on my PC!
