I am trying to free up some space on my laptop and have come across loads of these files on my c drive.

Any idea what they are and if it is safe to delete them???

They are Service Quality Monitor files that drop onto your hard drive from MSN Messenger. Perfectly safe to delete.

it's a service quality monitor file created by MSN messenger.

yes you can delete them.

and you can stop them being recreated by loading MSN going to the help menu and select customer experience improvement program and then selecting I do not wish to take part
