i've just imported a CD onto my itunes library. One of the tracks has been imported to another album with the same name as all the rest of the tracks. The track album is the same as is the artist. How do I get the rogue track to go on to the other album with all the rest of the tracks?

Not sure if you are on Mac r PC but its much the same on both.
Choose Get Info. Command key + i on the mac.
This will throw up all the info of the track and album.
Go to the track and change the album name to the one you want (Make the spelling, capitals etc. exactly the same. You will also need to enter the track number (4 of 12 for instance). Check where you want it to be by looking at the target album on your music list on iTunes

Thanks Milvus, but that doesn't help. The album name is the same on both, the artist name the same - all spelled the same - the track I have is 3 of 11 (the only one missing on the target album is 3).

I've got round it by putting the artist's name in the album artist name. Thanks for your input Milvus
