Can I run AVG 8 and AdAware 2008 at the same time or am I being too cautious.
I've just had a bad trojan infection and I'm getting paranoid.

You certainly can - they run very happily together.

AGV gets virus, and AdAware gets spyware.

Also consider A2 - which is anti trojan. The third in this list is the free version
