I saw a film projector on 'I want one of those' that will project your tv and dvds onto the wall in a size of around 6 feet. You could project onto the ceiling too. Naturally, they are sold out. Anyone know where they can be bought?

very few projectors are worth using unless you live permanently in a darkened room, and even then you need to use a proper screen really.

and if you get a decent one then go see the bank manager, as you'll need a second mortgage to keep replacing the bulbs.

Thanks Judge Nutmeg for the details. I'll check them out. And I take your point Chuck F. Its my son that wants this. I'll see he takes your comments into account.
Many thanks
In connection to what Chuck said, in a previous job, the manager was binning some old hardware and came across a projector.
He was about to bin it and i asked if i could take it, which he said yeah.....then i asked why he was binning it, to which he replied that it would cost more to buy a new bulb for it than what the machine is worth.
Fair play, it was an older projector, but if i remember correctly, it would be about 200 per bulb.

Needless to say, i did take the machine, but have yet to fire it up yet.

(i did manage to bag myself a projector bulb from my last job, which will hopefully be the correct type)
