I am a tutor of the above learners and would like suggestions for games/fun to have at a wee Xmas party. There will only be 6 or so and no drink - only cakes and coffee. I know about Hang Man, board games etc. Any other ideas?

I too work with people with learning difficulties and we have tied the balloon game , you know passing the balloon without usingthe hands, it was popular with our group
When I did the same sort of work, our folks used to love a simple karaoke.
A limbo dancing competition could prove great fun.
fancy dress, singing dancing competitions, charades adapted to their level, themed treasure hunt
What about bingo with christmas themed pictures. if you had access to powerpoint, you could put the pictures up on the screen.

Guess the christmas carol - play the first line or two of some popular carols or songs. Music makes most people smile
At our Xmas party this year (for French people learning English) we're doing a Christmas stocking game where you have to guess what's in the Christmas stocking just by touch. You can have a few going around but all must have the same things in preferably linked with Xmas.
