i got a new computer, and downloaded itunes, i then put on all of my music from my old computer via a portable hard drive, all the songs went on to my itunes, but they all duplicated like 4 times, i know i can go through and delete them, but it takes so much time, i was doing it for about an hour and it made no difference, when i went on my computer again i swear the copies were back, any way i cant get my itunes to recognise they are copies and to delete them or something like that?

Under File tab at the top left hand corner of iTunes, scroll down to 'Show Duplicates and delete.

If you still have your files backed up on an hard drive, it may be quicker to delete the lot and re import them.
