In Word 2007, how do I lengthen the page i.e. the number of lines to a page. I'm only getting about 24 lines per page, yet when I used MS Works, I could get about 42 lines per page...but I forgot what I did then. Ta Muchly.

You need File / Page Setup and then change the top and bottom margins. You will need to experiment as if you make them too small the printout will look odd. Any changes here default to the whole document.

You may also need to change the before and after spacing in Format / Paragraph if the lines are too far apart. Note that any changes here only apply to the selected lines.
go mad and change the left and right margins as well

2cm is enough for anyone ... as I've often proved ;-P
Changing margins can help but it's more likely to be font size or line spacing .
