I have two photographs 1 and 2. (both JPEGS)
Photo 1 has A & B on it. Photo 2 has B & C on it.
The question is: how do I create a photograph with A B & C on it??
I've bought the book 'for DUMMIES'; a week ago and still need to ask this question!
The package was bought for me a month ago(including the 'Training' DVD) but I'm slowly confirming to myself that I'm no DUMMY.....I'm not that clever!!!
Can anyone help? PLEASE!!!

Use the 'clone' tool (looks like a rubber stamp) to pick up areas of the image surrounding the numbers and rub out/mask the numbers out completely.

Then with the type/text tool (T) key in your required text in your required typeface/font. This will give you a 'layered' psd file.

When you are happy with the retouching of the image and your new text, 'flatten' the image (off the 'layers' tab at the top) and resave with another name as a .jpeg.
The You Suck at Photoshop video tutorials are great.

They're very diferent from the norm though, with plenty of 'adult-only' stuff.

Some of the techniques are more to the advanced, away from the plain simple stuff (but it's still quite simple to see with video tutorials).

I obviously didn't explain very well just what I wanted to do in Photoshop 7 (sorry 'snagged') but the photographs are of my wife and friend-taken by me- and me and my friend-taken by my wife and what I want is a photograph of my wife,my friend and me , in the same shot!!!
Is this too ambitious?
Sorry again
