I need a programme to run sound to light visualisations

I need a rogramme that will run phsychedelic visualizations simular to winamp. The problem with the winamp effects is that you can not seperate the control interface, so that it goes through a monitor and the effects go through a data projector, so every time you want to tweak the settings the audience see all the control interface, mouse movesand all !!! So I need to run the programme interface on my monitor and all the audience will see are the effects coming through the data projector. Any one out there know which programme I need to be using.
