having trouble installing printer

Hi there, have installed hp f2100 all in one printer, it is asking me to enter product key, where will i find this,it is vista compatible, appreciate any help, driving me mad

In the paperwork somewhere. Look on the driver disk envelope or on the back of the Instruction or other booklets
I have never seen a printer driver require a product key.

you are probably installing some other bit of software that came free with the printer that is asking you for a key.

All you need to use the printer is the driver installed, all the rest of the software is surplus to requirements and it won't effect the printer if it's not installed.

Thanks davethedog for your reply,its askin for 25 character product key cant find it anywhere, will have to contact hp

thanks chuckfickens, will have to excuse me as i am new to this site, will unistall then reinstall again, if that doesent work, think i will chuck it out the window,lol
