Hello
I'm trying to do a list of raffle ticket numbers down a page in fives:
1 - 5
6 - 10
11-15
16-20
and so on

I've got Microsoft Works but it doesn't seem to want to carry on in sequence, just copies the four I've listed.

I don't know how powerful the spreadsheet is in Works, Helly...........................but I would think you need to write a "macro" to do this.......................I can only suggest you read up on macros in the help/tutorial section................. unless someone's already done it and can post it up :o)
Put numbers 1 - 10 in the first two rows, highlight all the numbers from a1 to b5, then drag the crosshair (should be bottom right of square b5) downwards and it should work ok. I've just tried it.

Thank you very much. I'll try Judge Nutmeg's first - I'm afraid I'm a novice and even the word 'Macro' strikes terror.........
Sorry, helly, should read e5 and not b5.
Question Author
Sorry, Judge Nutmeg, it just copies the first two numbers. Am I being thick? Do you press Control or anything?
....... me too.............. :o(

tried it in Excel...............same result..............perhaps it depends on how your autofill is set up ?
Question Author
Success - I've done two separate columns, A and B and it will do fine.

Thanks for your help
Glad you've done it.
Can definitely be done without use of a macro.
