Saving text in picture format

Hello again, clever techie people.

Is there a way to type out text, and then save it in some sort of picture format?

yes of course,
If you have a photo editing programme like photo shop or serrif, you could type it straight in there, and save it as JPEG or TIFF,
or you could type it into a word doc, then retrieve it using your photo suite.

.Snag's right JJ......................press "PrintScreen".....the button just above the "Insert" key............then paste it into your graphics/paint application.......

as the builder says but...

if you press alt + print screen you will get a grab of only the active window rather than the full screen
Try and make this brief. Open Paint and pull in a picture. Erase the picture. Klik on Text and type in whatever choosing script etc. Save as jpeg.
if your planning to do this for business reasons

I.E. sending invoices to people as a file that can't be opened then the normal way is to send them a PDF (adobe acrobat) files.

in that case download and install

http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer .asp

which will add another printer in your list of printers, use that to print from anything to a PDF format file that you can email to people.

To save what is showing on screen, press Prt Scr button on top row of Keyboard.Click on Start (bttm Lft screen) click All Programs/,Accessories,/Paint. Press Ctrl+V then Ctrl+S.On Keyboard. When the Save to page opens, Scroll down & Save to My Pictures.Ron.
