Can you exchange phones half way through a contract?

Hey Guys!

I have an O2 - 18 month contract, but im getting really bored with my phone!
Im only 6 months into my contract and was wondering if its possible to exchange phones without having to pay a fortune on a new phone?

very very unlikely.

ask O2, theyll be only ones who can tell you if theyll give you another phone.

Or buy a PAYG phone that you know will accept your SIM card

I wouldn't have thought so. You have agreed and signed to a contract and must obey the contract's agreement.

You can only change your contract 12months in.

Misread that,

You can ring them and ask for a free handset upgrade but the contract itself cannot be changed. I think the handset upgrade is 8 months in though.
