Hey everyone! Anyone know how I would go about making a short video clip, but all made on the computer? As in an introduction to a game (the intro movie thingy) or even a simulation that can be watched in Windows Media Player or Winamp? I'm assuming it will need a modelling program of some sort (eg. 3DS Max, which I have) but am unsure. Anyone have any advice on how to get this going? Will greatly appreciate it . Practice makes perfect!... right? Thanks everyone!! Imagineaworld

yes you will need a software package. I suggest macromedia suite it's basicly a web design package but you can also create animation in one of the programs, it is tricky to get started but follow the tutorials and you'll get there. Macromedia is expensive to buy brand new so I suggest you look on ebay or something similar for second hand. Good luck

Hmm .. I already have Flash MX, so I know the sort of Animation that can be made with Macromedia. However, I'm looking towards a more "3D Virtual Simulation", but that has no user interactivity. Games such as Age Of Empires and most sport games have the kind of thing I mean, where it isn't game footage, it looks *really* good in 3D, etc. Thanks for the suggestion, I still cant find anything on google. Any other ideas? Cheers!
