Yellow stain on a stripped pine floor

Can anyone help please. We had a pine floor that had a dark stain and was then varnished. We stripped the varnish off and then sanded the wood to leave a nice distressed look. Then we used Sadolins Floor Oil that gave a superb finish. However, a month later we now have a yellow patch appear on the floor under the oil which is about 8 inches in diameter. I stripped off the oil and tried sanding the satin out but it only seems to get yellower in addition to making the patch lighter than the rest of the floor.

Does anyone have any idea what could have caused this and how to remove it?
