have a 2001 fiesta zetec, nearside headlight adjusts fine, driver side wont move but makes strange buzzing noises, any ideas??

next remove the spanner symbol on dash

Use WD40 on the plastic adjuster.

sounds like a faulty range-control motor,this is the thing that moves the aim up & down when you adjust the setting inside the car usually has the numbers 1-4 on it,try replacing that first to see if noise stops & then if it still wont adjust you may need a new headlamp aswell.
