I've got Quark 5.0 installed on my mac, which is running on OSX (panther) and I've just installed Acrobat 6.0. I'm unable to get Acrobat to convert Quark files into pdfs. I suspect that this is because the version of Quark is using is old, but can't find any downloads/upgrades to bridge the 5.0/6.1 gap (did try 6.1 but it wouldn't install). Help! I need to create pdfs. Any ideas greatfully received. Adele

If I recall I think you need a free Xtension from Quark to run PDFs through Acrobat Distiller. You certainly had to for Quark 4, whereas Quark 6.0 now has the JAWS PDF engine built-in. If you watch this space I'll try to find the link for you.
I couldn't find the exact answer but try here at the Quark forum. It's a mine of info. http://www.quark.com/service/forums/ Best of luck.

Thanks for the suggestions. Found a solution - saved files in Quark 5 as eps, then converted eps files to pdfs. Simplicity itself once you know!
