cam for a sony built in free view tv

I have just purchased a Sony tv with built in free view. Tried to get Setanta but they say I need a CAM, I already have a Setanta box but thought I didn't need it. Do I need to pay �30 for a CAM or can I use my Setanta box.

Right need help please
