Can someone tell me in simple terms (this is a case of the blind leading the blind!) how to help netibiza get back on here please? She signs in & submits but just gets taken back to the sign-in again, she's tried a new username/email address but it's the same. (Windows XP Firefox 3). She's not a happy bunny! :o)

There's sixties stuff on Yesterday this week in the evenings. After Downton (very good) I watched the Monkees & Sounds of the Sixties with lots of b/w clips.
Missed that Robi. Will look in tonight.

Have to go for my ultrasound scan this evening at 5.30pm in Norwich. In the middle of the rush hour!!! grrrrrr
Hello all have been resisting writing this but I must. DH is not well at all and the docs are talking in months. He comes home today and we are going to make the most of our time. Future very uncertain. My lovely Sis is going home for a few days but has promised to come back whenever I call. I probably won't post much on here but will lurk. Please let me know when you move. I am finding this hard t o talk about and mustn't lose it for DH's sake. I know you will all be feeling for me but I'd prefer if you didn't comment. Kindness is very hard to deal with right now. Thank you all for your loving support. I will be back x
Happy Birthday Jude .Have a lovely day and many Happy Returns
Here's a cake for you xx

Hello Boxtops!

shaney can you tell me the name of that dry skin cream you swear by please? My poor neighbour's legs look very sore (she's diabetic btw)
emails
The doctor gave me Dermol to wash with and Oilatum to rub in Robinia .
Tell your neighbour to moisturise her legs regularly .Twice a day .Don't use anything perfumed .
The Oilatum is really good and not greasy .In fact I've now got the face cream which is fab .
I'm sure if she asks her GP he can prescribe as they are quite expensive over the counter .
Another good thing is Aloe Vera gel from H&B .

You can wash with the Dermol and use it to moisturise xx

ooh, thanks for that shaney, I'll let her know. Her skin looks so shiny & tight & she doesn't need cracks that'll get infected but she's not one for asking many questions, she thinks she's being a nuisance....
Now my demanding neighbour's a different story! I thought I was fairly patient but she'd try a saint...
email again Robi.
Hello all. Thankyou for all the birthday wishes and the lovely cake, corgies and card. Would you believe I'm enjoying this one more than last years 70th. Having a very busy day. Had a gas leak checked, (now ok) window cleaner, numerous texts, and phonecalls from far and near. Have to go to school this afto. See yer later gater'(s)
Shiny and tight is not good Robinia .She needs to slap some cream on pronto .
Shiny and tight is how mine was with the cellulitis and the skin split open and became ulcerated .
Being diabetic this is the last thing she needs .Hope she soon gets sorted .
She really ought to elevate her legs as much as possible too .

Yoohoo Jude .Hope you are enjoying your day .Save us a bit of cake :)
Feel like chickening out of the scan this evening!! :o( I am getting hospital nerves.

Email again Jude

Hi Jude, I'm pleased to see you're having a good day....carry on stuffing cake, I'll stick one candle in me cherry bakewell and sing to you but don't panic, I wont be youtube-ing it.

That's what I thought when she showed me her legs yesterday shaney. I've had a word with her & she said she's using E45 & doesn't like bothering her doctor (I knew she'd say that)..it doesn't look good to me but there's not much I can do. And the only way to make her elevate her legs I think would be to catch her in one of those rope traps that haul you up by your ankles & dangle you from a great height.

Don't chicken out Lottie, it'll soon be over. I wish someone would scan me from top to toe.

BT mail's sorted at last, I thought for a while I'd have to start with ye olde quill & parchment again.
Well lottie, have you been scanned??

Evening all, Heating's on but way too hot for me, BiL wants it on! Been shopping again!

Hope you have had a good day jude x
Woofies xx
I hope the scan goes well Lofty .Ultrasound is only a bit of jelly on a probe thingy like they do when you're pregnant .
I had two ultrasound scans on my legs when they were looking for thrombosis and Mr S had one after his op when they found that clot .
It is a bit uncomfortable when they shove it in your groin but otherwise it was Ok.
Your neighbour really ought to see a dermatologist with her legs Robinia from the sound of it .I don't rate that E45 stuff at all .
Anyway ..Doc Martin tonight .
Take care folks ..see you later .
Tut Neti ..You'll need a jumbo jet to get you home with all that shopping :)
And which cupboard are you going to hide it all in ? Eh?
Lol.........
