when i start up my system i get a message saying ....cannot find the following file......\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\drivers\vetmon95.vxd.........can someone plz help me correct this. I have look on the site and someone suggested the following: open regedit and delete the following string. (press F3 to search your registry) [HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersi on\Explorer\Doc Find Spec MRU] "h"="vetmon95.vxd") I have looked at this but my "h"="ad aware". Can I delete this.... I cannot find vetmon???? please help me, this is driving me mad.

Adaware and Vetmon95.vxd are two totally seperate items.  I;ve read somewhere that vetmon95 is related to Vet Antivirus.  Have you had that on your system at all?  If so & you haven't uninstalled it correctly you might have been left with that message.

Be very careful using Regedit, as you could end up messing your pc up big style.  My first port of call would be Start - Run - msconfig -Enter - choose startup and see if it's on the list there if so remove the check mark and click ok.  You'll be promted to retart the system.  Do so and see if it comes up again.
