What is the best anti-spy/spam etc security CD disc that I can buy for my computer. I want everything covered except for child protection, as this is not relevant to my situation. I have got Norton 360 at the moment but it is due to run out in a couple of days. Do I have to remove it in any special way when I install the new security system, please?

You'll probably get about 50 different answers to this , but personally I never buy anti-virus/spyware . There's free versions which are just as effective .
I have Avast anti-virus http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.h tml , spybot http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html & adaware free anti-spyware.
Spam depends on your browsing habits as much as anything else , you can just Google ' avoiding spam ' & find advice that way .
To uninstall Norton it's best to use a toll from there website http://service1.symantec.com/Support/tsgeninfo .nsf/docid/2005033108162039

Thank you for your advice. I found the removal tool link particularly useful, as I was worried I would lose the on-line storage facility, which have all my files on.
