Are they real? Saw amy winehouse has got peter andre on her friend list. You can find loads of celebs profiles on there. I suppose they are real aren't they?

Amy may well know Peter in real life and on Facebook, but is the profile real? However would you know?

Facebook friends can be realy friends if you see them in real life too but not real if you dont have contact with them in real life I don't think. A bit like on here. I wouldn't call people on here real friends, they are friends but cyber friends I suppose.

My sisters mate has most of the cast of CSI on her page and totally believes they are real lol

I suppose if they were real they would have a certain filter maybe so that not every tom d1ck and harry can harass them

The thing is though, everyone would know that you are not actually friends with the entire cast of CSI. So inevitably it would give the impression that your other 1,243 friends are equally imaginary and you are a sad loner.

Yeah that is true
I think its sad when people feel they have to compete with others with the nimber of people they have listed on their friend list. People have loads and loads and you wonder how many they could actually call true friends

I have a minor celebrity friend and her facebook profile is definitely real.
I'm not sure about some of those AB profiles though ;-)
