screen resolution

screen is telling me that I need to set moniter to 1024x768 .How do I do this please. It says click start then settings then control panel but when I click start I cant see settings.

When you mouse click Start, do you see Run?

If so, type Control Panel in there and then enter.

Thanks for quick reply .I can get to control panel ok. it says START THEN SELECT SETTINGS THEN CONTROL PANEL. THEN DOUBLE CLICK DISPLAY AND CLICK SETTINGS TAB USE THE SLIDER TO SET MONITER TO 1024 X 768I t is the settings I cant see to click before going to control panel.

the easy way is to right click anywhere on a blank part of your desktop background and select properties, this will take you straight to the same place as the instructions are trying to tke you.
