I have use of a laptop at work. At work the laptop has a connection to the work network, internet etc.

At home I have a PC which accesses the internet via AOL. Is there any way of accessing the internet with my laptop when I take it home?

Will I have to install AOL on the laptop (I don't want to)

It connects with an ordinary domestic BT line and broadband modem connection.

Is that of any use?
You have a few options.

1) Turn off modem, plug modem into laptop (instead of computer), and then turn everything on. Should work fine.

2) Buy a wireless modem+router, to let you use both PC and laptop on same internet (AOL) at once.
