Cursor freezes on links.

When I click on a link that is in a post on here or in an e-mail, the cursor freezes and I have to wait for the arrow to come back, then all I can do is exit the page.

I have done the usual ad-aware, spybot, defrag and drive clean up.

Any ideas please.
