Are the Brain Training and Sight Training games any good?

Do they really work?

Are they acurate?

If so, where's the best place to get one at the best price?

I think that the answer to your question: are they any good is very subjective.

If you are looking for something that will improve your brain skills in an intelligence area then in my opinion, I would say no. If you are looking to train the brain to do similar processes quicker and more efficiently then I would say yes.

So it really comes down to what you are hoping to get out of having and using one.

As far as best price, then check out comparison websites, www.pricerunner.co.uk and www.kelkoo.co.uk as these generally push you to the best prices however not every retailler is signed up with them so you can use their prices as a guide.
I got Brain Training for the Nintendo DS and it is wicked, really excercises the brain, like arithmetic, reaction speed and other cognative stuff, i'm not scientist like tigersam258, but I know excercises like that every day or every other day are definatley good for helping you work out problems and equations better, and the way you see your Brain Age getting younger (20 is the best) is cool becuase it motivates you to get better!

Worth it in my opinion if your daily activities don't involve much brain work, your brain is a muscle and it needs excercise for optimal operation.

As for prices, check out google products search aswell usually turns up alright but as tiger suggested, kelkoo, dooyoo, ciao etc are good comparison for prods... don't forget second hand from your nearest GAME, Blockbuster, Computer Exchange (CEX) and the infamous EBAY.CO.UK!!
