The error code is broken down into two parts the first one being 03 (the Sense Code). 0C00 simply means write error. This error code means that Nero is unable to pipoint the exact problem. Sense Codes beginning 03 can realte to buffer under run (where the data is being sent to the CD-R quick enough. It could be that the drive cannot work out how much power to deliver to the laser in order to burn the disc. The laser head position may be in a different place to where the software expects it to be. There are a number of problems relating to sense code 03. The good news is that hardware failures usually generate a Sense Code 04. As per my last reply, have you recently changed the brand of disc that you use?
