Not a question but a warning. There is ongoing industrial action in Dublin and the east coast involving the employees of Brinks-Mat who fill cash machines. There is NO CASH in any of the ATMs in Dublin Airport and in many of the ATMs in Dublin. So be prepared.

This dispute has been going on for about a month. The atms outside banks are OK, it's just the stand alone ones like those in stores that have the problem. Dublin airport has a Bureau de change anyway and a bank counter. any taxi driver will take you with no cash, just ask him to stop at a working ATM on route.
