Getting Music off a DVD

Is there any way I can record the music off a DVD? And still have the quality of a soundtrack. Any help would be great.

Download Audacity:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
(You should also download the file lame_enc.dll, which is needed to export MP3 files from within Audacity).
Open Audacity and set the source (at the top right of the window) to 'Video'. Play the video on your PC. You can now record any section of the soundtrack you require, using the controls at the top left of your screen. To save the file, go to File > Export. (Don't use File > Save, as this stores the project in Audacity's own file format). Select WAV for an uncompressed (but large) audio file or MP3 for a compressed file. (The first time you try to export an MP3 file, Audacity will ask you to tell it where you've stored the lame_enc.dll file, but you only need to do it once).

Save the file to somewhere suitable on your hard drive, then double-click on it's icon to install the program.

Save the file to somewhere suitable on your hard drive, then double-click on the file icon. This will launch your 'unzipping' software (which is built into Windows XP and Vista). You'll be asked where you want to extract the file lame_enc.dll to. Choose somewhere suitable on your computer.
Go to Start > Programs and launch Audacity. Use the drop-down menu, at the top-right of the screen, to set the source to 'Video'. Insert your DVD into your DVD drive, to play the DVD on your PC. (It should start automatically). Minimise the video window (so that the DVD continues playing but you can, once again, see the Audacity window).
When you get to where you want your audio recording to start, click the red 'Record' button at the top left of the screen. (You'll see an audio trace displayed in the window). When you want to stop the recording, click the yellow 'Stop' button.

using audacity all you are doing is re-recording the audio which when transcoded with the lame encoder (mp3)will result in degradation.
