Can anybody tell me if there is anywhere in England that has not seen rain ALL day.

It was raining when I got up.
It was raining when I went to work
It was raining when I finished work
It is raining now.

It has therefore been raining all day.

I do not mind the rain however.

I am sorry this post is not as surreal as some below. But you can't put a monkey in a washing machine if the powers in Peru are buying old typewriters can you?

So how rainy out of ten are you today?

It has stopped raining in Croydon, however it is still overcast.

In Croydon it has been raining incessantly all day, and still is.

I like rain and love going for walks and playing in it . For me, it could rain non stop day and night and I'd never be bothered.

it was pouring here until 12.30 pm ,then blue sky for a while , started raining again and hasn't stopped since . Sussex is on a flood warning , as it was horrendous last time we were flooded .

I have no idea what Whiffs is on about! The ground in Thornton Heath is a little damp I grant you, however there is no rain. As for New Pikington, er I mean New Addington and your wish list, the fall-out may be well received.

I wouldn't dream of harming any chimp or other animal. I still feel the guilt from the poor snail I trod on a few days ago.

Just spent a very pleasent few hours in the Lake District with wife and Izzy our grand daughter.
48degeees and no rain!!!
But the lake(Windermere) was very high and lots of flooded fields with roads awash.


How many lakes are there in The English Lake District??
