wood engraver

can anyone recommend someone who does wood engraving. its my parents golden wedding in march and would like to find someone who would be able to to engrave something into wood - not sure what as yet. hope there is someone out there who can help

B&Q used to do a set that could be worked of a standard router.
All you have to do is clamp your wood down onto your bench and then with the tool you'd write out what you want to say by following the out lines.

How about a nice engraved wooden bench for their garden.? You could try the Parks & Leisure Department of your local council. People often want to donate engraved benches in Parks, etc. in memory of loved ones but often the Council will insist on a standard type of engraving and might employ specific craftsmen to do it, so they may have a list of wood engravers. Your local garden centres may also have a contact if they sell wooden garden furniture. You could also try Googling " Wood engravers in .......(name of the county in which you live" to see if this produces any results.
