Ive googled it, and it all looks very complicated!!
does anybody know the simplest way of unlocking the iphone, does anyone done this before?? any tips wopuld be appreciated!!

My tip: don't do it.

Not only is it complicated (but it should get easier), but new software updates for the iPhone will likely not work with your iPod after you've unlocked it.

This is due to the unlocking requiring the setting of modem firmware, which the software update may want to change, and dependant software will assume it has been updated.

Buy a legit one, from Apple or O2.

im not trying to put you off getting an iphone but as said above ....dont unlock one,
my husband bought an iphone the weekend they came out and added the �35 per month tariff to it. he had it a week when he decided it was a complete and utter waste of money so he took it back, got refund and got his number transferred back to his old phone.

Simply unlock your iPhone through iPhone unlock software. There are lots of software available in the market which can easily unlock yor iPhone. before unlocking iPhone if you have used iPhone for storing any data then make backup of your iPhone through iPhone backup software.
