Trouble viewing downloaded programme

I've just downloaded an episode of Heroes off Limewire, but when I try to play it it just plays audio and shows no picture. It is definitely a video file and I've tried using windows media player and power DVD...any ideas?

Hi,
what typeof file are you playing avi, mp4? If you don't know try using vlc cos it'll play almost any video file.
vlc is here.
