If a number I don't know, or a witheld number comes up I NEVER answer it...and then spend ages fretting bout who it might've been!

Call me paranoid (it's been said before :-)

Anyone else the same ?

I get a LOT of unknown/private number calls on a mobile phone. Funny thing is that I KNOW who it is! PMSL

He even serenades me with music FFS!
I probably should substantiate my answer LOL, I only gave the mobi number to one person, hence I know who it is.

You never answer me :( but I put that down to a special Scottie problem.
I always answer, otherwise i would sit for ages fretting as to who it might have been lol :))
Whiffy, you only answered me ONCE lol
whiffey, you always answer as long as someone texts you first, the noooooooooooooo
You can always ring back and ask them who they are !!! The problem arises when they ring you and you don't answer, then you ring them back and they don't answer. This is telephone torture.

Telephone torture is some **** calling you in the early hours of the morning and not saying a thing.
i had one at 1.30am last week.

i only answered cos of my dad being ill

some loser said "i`m really horny"

laughed the next morning but at the time i lept out of bed, and paniked!!

I've ranted about this before but I don't care. The most annoying thing ever is when we get phonecalls at work from people at work who have been out, come home and think "Ooooh wonder if anyone's rung me?" then they dial 1471, return the call and then don't have a clue who it is, so I have to bloody explain who we are, what we do and then they say "Oooh I think it must've been my son you were after!"
"Is he in?"
"No, he's out at the moment..."
FFS! I never answer a number if I don't recognise it and I certainly don't ring it back.
Sorry, went off on a tangent...
I was plagued by an Irish man years ago who would ring most nights asking for Patrick. He wasn't a prankster but I could only convince him he had a wrong number one night at a time. Eventually he changed tack and asked if I was sure Patrick wasn't in and would I go upstairs and check!!! After a bit of unladylike language he didn't call again.
pmsL @ rabbitygirl! yeah, I have done that before...keep the nuisance caller on the line! its their phonebill :)
With hubby and 2 adult sons in the house I was always getting cold calls asking for Mr X. I would ask which one. They would then say Mr T X. Which one, we have 2. I dont know. Then call back when you do. Bye.
