How can i change from a widescreen to a full screen e.g when i alwyaz put a movie on a disc its alwayz widescreen, i dont want that

can i change it

More information please.

Does this happen ONLY when you play dvds, or when you watch a tv programme?

Make/model of tv would be helpful.

Also make / model of the dvd player.

My DVD player remote has a zoom button, it defaults to widescreen but pressing the zoom makes it full screen. Bear in mind you will lose some of the picture from either side.

Are these pirate dvds that you or somebody has downloaded from the internet?

If so, it stands to reason you won't have all the features and are stuck with what you get.
