computer blunder!!!

silly me has just deleted some work that i really didn't want to delete. i had it saved on my usb pen. any ideas on how to retrieve if at all poss??? have tried recycle bin but no joy?? please help!!!

Well if it's on your USB pen... plug it in and copy it back to your hard drive??

The previous answer would obviously work if you have a backup on your usb pen. But I suspect you deleted it from there. Have you checked your my documents folder for a backup called ~$(your file name).doc in the case of a word document. If you find one it may need converting but ms word will help.

Ps It was only saved on usb and was deleted from there!!
