I am a keen runner,and I like to have an mp3 on during my long plods. Unfortunately, they seem to go faulty about 3 months after I buy them.I presume due to sweat and rain etc (gross!) The sound goes crackly, then disappears from one headphone altogether. Is there a sporty, water-resistant mp3 player anybody can recommend?

are you sure its not just the head phones that are faulty?

the ipod shuffle isn't everyone's ideal player, but is cheap, pretty well built and small enough to hide somewhere out of the rain.
