does anyone know the name of the song and the artist to a song that's in 'Dazed & Confused' 'Austin Powers 2' and the episode of 'Sex and the City' when they go to Hugh Hefner's mansion it's has a 70's sound to it and I think it contains the magic carpet ride?

Could it be "Magic Carpet Ride" by Steppenwolf. That is on the "Austin Powers 2" soundtrack.
