Accessing the web on an HP IPAQ

I've just been given an HP IPAQ at work and I'd like to be able to access the internet on it via my Vodafone sim card, from my mobile phone.... which I can apparantly do either by Wi Fi... or by GPRS. Its the GPRS I wish to set up...

I've been given a data no. , an 'APN' and a password ?

What do I do with these to achieve the desired result ?

thanks neildownx.. thats was my next stop after posting the question... i've posted the question to the forum and I'm waiting to see if anyone can help...

I thought the idea was that technology was meant to be simple ... tut...
