my old boat engine has a small header tank (water) which is made of brass and has become porous. I am told that there is a liquid sealant that can be swilled around in the tank and this will set and seal it. Does anyone know of this product please?

There is a product called Petseal. usually for motorbike petrol tanks but pretty good. Do a google for it and see who supplies it (bike shops?). there are a few but best if it's near you to get some. Good luck...Dagman
