I think may have accidentally uninstalled something from my computer as i can no longer watch certain video clips, like the ones you can watch off the BBC's website, does anyone know what is missing and where to download it?

Thanks in advance

It could be one of the many cases of Flash player 'doing a disappearing act'. (AB is littered with questions about this). To check, try loading any video from the YouTube website. If you simply see a white space where the video should load, Flash is missing.

Actually, that last sentence isn't strictly correct. Flash won't really be missing from your PC; it simply won't be working. That means that you won't be able to get the Flash download to work, because Adobe's web server will detect that you've already got it. What you need to do is to go to Add/Remove programs and uninstall Flash player plug-in first. Then you'll be able to download it from here:
