cant send texts to one number

i speak to this person every few days, they have been out of the country for the last few months and now they have been back 2 weeks, the phone receives calls fine but my phone tells me "message sending failed" any ideas it has become a real pain,

have they accidently added you to their block number list within their messages ? this would not stop you calling them, just texting them.

Have you tried sending a message from another persons phone, this might tell you if the problem is with your phone or theirs. Also, have you had problems sending texts to other mobiles?

iv been told that only samsungs have a block list, they can send me msgs, and if i choose to reply to the txt they have sent it sends ok, but i cant write a new msg, very odd,

I have one number in my address book that only receives texts if I use one to reply to and never gets them if I do a whole new message

I always keep one message from her in my inbox :)
