My neighbour's computer completely dumped her Norton Anti Virus 2007 after she had run Windows XP Service Pack 2. Couldn't be found anywhere. Anyone heard of that happening before, please?

No, but she should be very grateful. Now she can replace it with something much better, such as AVG or Avast
