Will a T-mobile phone definately not work on Vodaphone?

There's a bargain samsung phone I want to get but it's on T-mobile pay as you go. Do you think there is any chance my vodafone sim will work in it?

It probably won't work as it will be locked to T-Mobile. owever you should be able to get it unlocked for less than a tenner.

In my experience not all handsets are as easy to unlock as each other. Some simple ones may be a few minutes work and a tenner or so, but the C7 I tried to unlock a couple of years ago, no one had the "hash" codes needed to achieve it. Had to wait months until they became known, and then it was far more expensive. If you buy a handset locked to a network that you don't use then you take your chances.
