dvd recorder with freeview

Hi I have a TV with a built in freeview tuner...I am lookign to buy a dvd recorder with freeview tuner as well...now this might seem like a stupid question but does this mean I can record one freeview channel but watch another one..or will one tuner override the other..as some people in reviews talk about their tv using the dvd tuner to get the reception.... do i have to buy a dual tuner recoder....thanks

Buy a dual recorder, then you can record two channels and watch a third. :)
