Messages printed from Outlook Express have no left-hand margin. This means that the beginnings of the words tend to be cut off. Is there anyway of setting it up so that there is a margin on the left?

Select File > Page Setup. Check the paper size/type and orientation are correct. Set all margins to zero. The computer will then reset them to the minimum your printer will accept. Selecting File > Print Preview will give you an accurate picture of what will print without wasting time and paper actually printing.
If setting to zero doesn't work, go back and experiment with margin settings till you get what you want. Don't set too big margins or you won't print all the text that should be on each line.

Thanks for the reply Ewood. Unfortunately, however, you've put the finger on the problem - in the File menu of Outlook Express there is no page setup option. Any other ideas?
Oops! Know what I've done? I've confused Outlook Express and Internet Explorer. Sorry! Umm ... The only idea I have now is a cheat. Copy the stuff you want to print and paste into your word processor, then print it from there. Maybe someone else has a real answer.
I don't think it is adjustable.
Is your printer ok ?
are you running the correct driver.
are there symptoms on other software ?

Thanks, both - no, nothing's wrong with any other software, it's just Outlook Express. Copy and paste is a possibility, if nobody else has got any other ideas.
