If I buy a second hand [a few months old] Sky Digibox what would I have to do to get it up and running please?

You need a Sky dish and card as well.

Assuming you already have Sky Digital and are just replacing a broken box, you will need to ring Sky so they can activate your viewing card for the new box (and cancel it for the old one).

I did this about a year ago and it only takes a few minutes for them to do.
